Neodymium Magnet Information
Nickel-Copper-Nickel triple layer coated for maximum durability and protection again corrosion
Neodymium magnets (also known as Neo, NdFeB, NIB or super magnets) , a type of rare earth magnets, are permanent magnets made from neodymium, iron, boron and other minor elements.
ISO Certified, top notch quality and superior performance guaranteed

USPS tracking is not accurate or "real-time".
While your USPS package may appear to be held up in one place for several days, nearly all packages arrive within the normal 3-7 business days.
However, a few may take up to 20 business days to arrive.
Please contact us if your package takes longer than normal to arrive.
WARNING:
Our magnets are not intended for use with or as a magnet set. A magnet set is defined as any aggregation of separable magnetic objects that is a consumer product intended, marketed or commonly used as a manipulative or construction item for entertainment, such as puzzle working, sculpture building, mental stimulation, or stress relief.
Fingers could be severely pinched between two or more magnets.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF ALL CHILDREN.
THIS IS NOT A TOY.
DO NOT ingest or inhale.
DO NOT place in nose, mouth or any other part of the body.
Swallowed magnets can stick to intestines causing serious injury (NECROSIS) or even DEATH.
Seek immediate medical attention if any magnet(s) are swallowed or inhaled.
Neodymium Magnets are BRITTLE.
They can SHATTER, CRACK, PEEL or SPLINTER if allowed to snap together or slam into a metal object.
Broken magnets can be Extremely SHARP.
MAGNETIC MEDIA AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT HAZARD.
KEEP AWAY from PACEMAKERS AND INTERNAL MEDICAL DEVICES.
Magnetized materials are REGULATED FOR AIR TRANSPORT and are considered a HAZARDOUS MATERIAL.
Neodymium magnets will lose their magnetic properties if heated above 175°F (80° C).
Do Not cut or drill Neodymium Magnets, there is a both a fire and fracture hazard and the dust is toxic.
Magnet Tolerance +/- .005"
Pull Force
Pull Force is the amount of force required to separate 2 of the same size magnets from each other.
Actual pull force of cylinder/disc magnets may vary depending on different applications due to the small contact surface or magnets to curved surfaces due to the small contact surface.
Please test them before usage.
Rule of thumb is that the magnet will hold approx. 1/3 the weight of the stated pull force.
So...If pull force stated is 90 lbs...the magnet will hold approx. 30 lbs in weight hanging from it.
Also..If you are trying to stick the magnet to stainless steel...the better the quality of the stainless steel...the less the magnet will stick.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When will my order ship?
A:
Orders are shipped within 1 business day of their receipt.
Q: What does grade N52, N50, N48, N45 and N42 mean?
A:
The strength of neodymium magnets is given by a grading from N24 for the lowest strength magnets to N54 for the strongest. Each number higher is about 1% stronger than the previous number grade.
Q: Can I cut or drill neodymium magnets?
A:
NO, with cutting or drilling there is a both a fire and fracture hazard and the dust is toxic.
Q: How long will Neodymium magnets last?
A:
400 years, if not subjected to sharp impacts or higher than rated temperatures.
Q: What are the tolerances of our magnets?
A:
+ or - 0.005"
Q: Are our HYenergy line of wind turbines UL or ETL approved?
A:
Our HYenergy line of 5 blade wind turbines have ETL approval. ETL Will also pass for UL approval.
Q: To what temperature can Neodymium magnets be subjected before they start losing their magnetic force?
A:
176 degrees Fahrenheit or 80 degrees Centigrade.
Q: Where are the poles on rectangular, bar, and block magnets?
A:
All our rectangular magnets are magnetized through the thickness. The poles are always on the surfaces of the 1st two numbers of the measurements.
Q: Where are the poles on cylinder and disc magnets?
A:
The poles are always axially magnetized through the thickness. This means the poles are on the flat surfaces unless stated that they are diametrically magnetized which means the poles will be on the curved sides.
Q: Do you offer combined shipping
A:
We do not offer combined shipping.
Q: What is Pull Force? 1
A:
Pull Force is the amount of force required to separate 2 of the same size magnets from each other. Actual pull force of cylinder/disc/cup/ hook magnets may vary depending on different applications due to the small contact surface or magnets to curved surfaces due to the small contact surface. Please test them before usage.
Q: What is Pull Force? 2
A:
Rule of thumb is that the magnet will hold approx. 1/3 the weight of the stated pull force. So if pull force stated is 90 lbs the magnet will hold approximately 30 lbs in weight hanging from it. Also if you are trying to stick the magnet to stainless steel the better the quality of the stainless steel the less the magnet will stick.
Q: What are diametrically magnetized cylinder magnets?
A:
Diametrically magnetized cylinder magnets have the poles (attraction) on the curved sides instead of on the flat ends.
