Vintage Ceramic Fruit Basket Sorrento Arnart Japan 22/342 Table Decoration
This is a sweet little vintage ceramic fruit basket. It makes a nice table decoration for every day admiration or Thanksgiving would be a good time to put it out.
One leaf had been broken off and repaired by the original owner (found this at an estate sale) and I have included two photos showing the repair which is pointed out with a pen tip. One is pictured from the top and shows where the break line is - it is hard to see and I didn't see it when I first got the item. The other picture is from the underneath side of the leaf and you can see there is a tiny bit of green glaze that is missing. Please look at the photos.
Other than the one repair the item is in terrific condition. It's got a nice sheen to the fruit and a solid base. I tried to take photos from many different positions so you can see from many angles what it would look like at your home.
It measures approximately 9" L x 4" W x 6 1/2" H
