WW2 German  1944 SGX "Grey Ghost" Bayonet

Description

Nice, clean late war 1944 SGX “Grey Ghost” Bayonet. The bayonet
retains about 40% of the phosphate coating.
Bayonet Serial number is 2508ii.
Handle grips are red bakelite and in good shape for being 77 years old, but does have one small crack as shown.  Has all the proof marks.  Blade does (to me) minor signs of field sharpening, but edge still flat.  Blade has some minor pitting as shown in photos. Retainer lock works just fine.  Does not come with a scabbard.
All things considered, this is a very nice and RARE bayonet for its age.
